Borrowing from the library

Members can borrow items from a statewide collection that includes a great range of fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, DVDs and CDs.

Membership gives you access to all our resources, including physical and digital collections. You can join online or in person at your local library.

Visitors to Tasmania can apply in person for a 3 month membership. This entitles them to borrow books, magazines, DVDs and CDs.

For more information, visit our Join page.

My Account

Here you can review your account and update your contact details.

Membership is renewed every 2 years. We have 3 simple ways to update your email address and contact details:

You can check where you are in the queue for your hold and when your items need to be returned or renewed.
