The Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts will be temporarily closed from Tuesday 7 May due to upcoming redevelopments on the Ground Floor at 91 Murray Street, Hobart.
We are unable to retrieve items from the Allport collection for in-person viewing until further notice.
The Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts is a living collection of nationally significant Tasmanian colonial paintings, photographs, rare books, manuscripts, English and European decorative arts and furniture.
